Since Macs are running on similar hardware as PC's (running Windows on native hardware rather than virtualization like in BootCamp for example), I don't see it being a huge issue.
There are people out there already running games like Counter Strike Source (the PC native application) in MacOS X using programs such as WINE or CrossOver.
And if Valve jumps on the Mac wagon... well you know Valve already... they are that pretty big game developer.
Only good can come of this.

My prediction... "The Blue Box" announcement next week for Mac. Includes all Valve's top games ported over.
