Any one who tries to cry me a sad story about the great depression forget it my living Gma has been there and told me it was tough but she came from a country alot worse.
When i visited Cambodia for my church in 2002 heres a run down of how it looked
-No running or filtered water unless you are in a major city
-People run their electricity off a car battery
-if you cant farm your going to die
-The roads are all dirt with random patches of gravel
-people walk in excess of 30 miles to the nearest city
-local gangs with sub-machineguns own the villages outside the city capitol
Honestly i still feel blessed to live in the USA or Canada sometimes i think people born here for generations dont realize this if you are homeless here you go on welfare if you are jobless in a 3rd world country(almost every Country outside Europe and North America) well use your imagination.
anyways sorry about the industrial revolution misinformation but dont give me shit about the depression i was stating that many inventions were still made during the depression 1910-1930 that paved the way for the modern world. i never said it was a cakewalk economically. Im through with this thread
